Glock 34 Race Gun - "synergy" -noun 1. The interaction of factors that combine to produce an overall effect greater than the sum of individual factors, contributions, etc.
I know my way around a Glock They have been my go-to choice since I bought the Glock 23 Gen 2 Since then, I've owned several models in both the 9mm and .40S and W Today, I carry Use the Glock 19 or Glock 43 as your EDC weapon, with a 9mm recoil. But when competing in 3-gun matches, the Glock 34 is the pistol I should go for, as my previous post, “Glock 34, Perfect for 3 Guns” and for those of you who want to show off. Look no further than your secondary weapon, Agency Arms, to the next level. Immediately after acquiring the Glock 34 Gen 4, I spoke to the mad scientists at Agency Arms about a change. Feasibility. Their art of layering, functionality, and light break has always fascinated me Finally, I'll be owning a Glock 34 dealer gun soon
Glock 34 Race Gun
Founded in January 2015, Agency Arms can be considered a new entrant to the aftermarket weapons market. However, you won't know it if you've ever handled or shot one of their heavily modified Glocks. The innovation and detail produced by this veteran and LEO-owned company is astounding. No part of the pistol was overlooked in the making of the Agency's Glock gun. Over the next few sections, I'll dive into the major component details of the Agency's Glock 34 gun.
Fns Vs Glock 34
The factory Glock polymer frame has some things going for it and some things against it Polymer durability is second to none, as proven through decades of service in both law enforcement and military use. Up until the fourth generation Glock, one-size-fits-all frames Now included in the Gen 4 model with a removable back strap, the user can customize the fit to the fullest extent determined. Customizing dealer Arms frames takes a few steps Glock introduced finger grooves in the 10th generation, and although it was well received, Glock decided to continue that design for Gen 4 models. According to the customer's request, Agency Arms can mill the finger grooves and add regulation of the grip, allowing the shooter to have a more comfortable and ergonomic grip.
The trigger guard is also under the re-adjustment of the surgical knife and regulated in all suitable positions. Material has been removed from the underside of the trigger guard to help users buy as many pistols as possible. The trigger well is wider for ease of use when wearing tactical gloves. Above the trigger on the side of the frame you'll find the "Accelerator Cut". A clever polymer redesign reduces barrel protrusion for faster subsequent shots, allowing for less pressure on the pistol.
Agency Arms offers 3 different types of slide modifications, Field Bat, Hybrid Special and Urban Combat. I chose the Urban Combat Slide because it's the lightest model I'm making. The Glock 34 factory has a cut window on the slide. However, Agency Arms opens it further and removes excess material from the sides of the slide. The new CNC cut 2 shutters on the front also help reduce weight One of my favorite changes to the slide is the much-needed addition of the slide front serrations. I love hitting check from the front of the slide and always thought that Glock needed a lot to add these. Instead, Agency Arms answered the call with six new front cogs as well as a complete repaint of the existing rear cogs. They are known as DNA collectors because of their aggressive cheese-squeezing records
To give the Urban Combat Slide Lightning perspective, the unmodified Glock 34 frame (minus the barrel and recoil spring) scales at 15.2 oz. The Agency's Glock 34 Gun weighs just 12.4 oz…with the Trizicon RMR mounted on top! I should have compared the two before inserting the RMR but the moderate dose of Loctite and the excellent zero won't let me take it off as I write. However, this comparison illustrates how lightweight the converted slide is. Doing a little math and adding the weight of the MOS slide while subtracting the known weight of the RMR and mounting plate, I saved 3 ,4 oz or 22% of the factory slide. This reduction in weight does not compromise the functionality or durability that have been the hallmark of Glock pistols for a long time.
Improving Your Glock For Under $100 Part Ii: Connectors, Sights And Magpul Magwell!
No competitive pistol is complete without some trigger work Agency Arms has completely outdone themselves with their complete "fit in hand" trigger set. This beautiful flat-faced aluminum trigger is tuned with very little recoil followed by a clear, audible muffle. With minimal travel time and flexible reset, the shooter returned to target for quick follow-up shots and tighter firing groups. Agency Arms can either mount the trigger on your Glock or send you an assembly to install Either way, it's a huge improvement over the factory polymer trigger See Scott's article on Sizing Authority Active weapon here
Given the weapon's rotation rate, trigger restart, and subsequent shots, we're missing out on something if the reload isn't resolved. Agency Arms offers a great magwell to help speed up magwell changes. This isn't one of the most obnoxious jobs found in these Magwell gun races as it's a sturdy piece of aluminum that can be carried inside or outside the belt to accommodate a shooter. A perfect balance of form and function Installation can be done indoors or outdoors and is available for both 3rd and 4th generation Glocks

The Glock 34 Generation 5 in 9x19mm is the latest in Glock's line of "extended" slide pistols. The Glock 34 is a toned model of the first competitive Glock, the Glock 17L. The Glock 17L packs a 6-inch barrel inside a 9.5-inch-long frame. Although it has had some use in the competition circuit, it is probably "too Glock" for many because the slide protrudes about two inches from the bottom of the frame, giving the pistol a rough appearance that takes away Balance.
