Glock 34 Recoil Spring - I wasn't really sold on adding an aftermarket guide bar, but after seeing my better half on the range with her Glock 17, I thought it might be worth it. I ordered her a SS guide rod with a 17lb spring. My girlfriend likes the way the gun spins, and while the weight difference isn't as good as a tungsten guide rod, it does help with recoil and easier sighting. This was my first order with the metal pin extended control kit. Shipping was fast and they had great communication throughout the process.
Nice build, well made and almost built. First there were spring compression problems. With a little force I was able to release the lock washer. I noticed some lokite on the guide rod under the detent screw. It caught the washer, preventing it from moving. I removed the debris and it works fine now. You may want to check this or warn customers. At first I thought it was broken.

Very happily it fell without any problems. I noticed that it is not painted for the various spring weights and has a locking washer not shown in the picture. When I saw it I thought I would weigh it on my digital scale and it came in at 25.6 grams, so I hired the kit and weighed it on a digital paint scale and got the same weight as advertised at 28.3 not 25.6. Although I am very happy with the part working flawlessly on my pistol after several hundred rounds. I would highly recommend this upgrade.
Glock 22 Gen 3 Recoil Reduction Spring Rod By Dpm Systems
Seems to fit well, haven't shot it yet, the only comment before was the reason for the 4 star, the end going into the frame had a red lock, I had to oil it and run it. A while back I experienced a steady relapse. It seems to be working fine by hand now, but I'll try tomorrow. If it works well, I will change my review to 5 stars. If there are problems it will decrease from 4
Moving up to a 20-pound recoil spring in the .40 S&W G22 eliminates the high-velocity slide against the frame and FTF that occurs when mounting a light on a Gen 3 rail. These problems are due to the insufficient 17-pound recoil spring shared with the 9mm G17. Also reduces felt recall. Adding weight and stiffness to the stainless guide rod is a nice bonus.
Looks very well made and made of good quality material. It is better than the OEM Glock spring assembly and improved my custom G17 build.
I gained 17 pounds. "Competition Recoil Spring" for my Glock 17, Gen 4. It was cleaned and oiled and loaded into my pistol with no problems. Gen 4 requires an "adapter ring". When riding the bike with the slide assembly by hand, I could feel and hear a slight grinding/rubbing sound. I then checked the slide, lower frame housing and barrel. The spring rubs against the guide rod.

I shot over 100 rounds (medium powder charge). It worked flawlessly. Case throw was good, round climbing was good and rebound seemed a little off.
Out of the bag, the pairs I tested were accurate. Additionally, through strategic speed drills I was able to consistently acquire targets quickly and execute accurate shots (15 yards).
18lb stainless steel competition push rod for the gen 3 G19...I can feel the difference/improvement in overall 19 balance in my hands. Can't wait to get over it.
